Modena, nestled in the heart of Italy, is renowned globally for its association with some of the world's most iconic luxury car manufacturers, as it offers a unique glimpse into the true core of Italian craftsmanship and automotive excellence.
Batch 12 students of the Master in Global Luxury Goods & Services Management (MGLuxM) program at SP Jain School of Global Management recently had an opportunity to visit the manufacturing facilities of Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati, and Pagani at Maranello, known globally for housing some of the world’s most iconic luxury car manufacturers.
The exclusive factory tours provided a unique insight into each brand's vision, customisation, and attention to detail. Students were also given the opportunity to explore the floor and capture their dream photographs with the cars, creating lasting memories.
Beyond the speed and precision of high-end cars, they were treated to a taste of Italian excellence during their visit to the Parmigiano Reggiano factory, the classic Italian cheese. This traditional cheese making unit gave the students a firsthand view of the meticulous process behind making the classic, relished Italian Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
Far beyond a conventional academic trip, this industry visit introduced students to the excellence of #ItalianMade and provided a holistic understanding of craftsmanship and exclusivity.
