Batch 10 students of the Master in Global Luxury Goods & Services Management (MGLuxM) program at SP Jain School of Global Management embarked on their European adventure with a trip to Florence from November 28, 2022 to December 1, 2022.
Here’s a quick glance at their trip:
Day 1: It started with visiting the Gucci Garden and Salvatore Ferragamo Museum. These visits made the students want to learn more about luxury brands' rich histories.
Day 2:They visited the picturesque estate of Frescobaldi in the heart of the Chianti Classico. Here, they were given a tour of the vineyard and cellar and learnt the intricacies of wine-making that set Frescobaldi's wine apart. The highly anticipated wine tasting was accompanied by delectable cuisine that left the students feeling pampered in the idyllic surroundings. The warm hospitality only added to the overall experience, making it feel like a luxurious retreat.
Day 3: The group headed to Modena - the city of high-end automobiles. The exclusive Ferrari, Maserati, and Pagani factory tours provided a unique insight into each brand's vision, customisation, and attention to detail. As luxury car enthusiasts, the students were thrilled and eager to become part of this community.
Cheese tasting at Parmigiano-Reggiano offered a glimpse into the local region's cheese-making process, followed by another delightful wine-tasting experience at Cantina Gavioli. The Florence study was an unforgettable mix of education and experience, giving the students a taste of luxury fashion, automotive, and cuisine!
