Inside the world of supercars: Ferrari & Pagani
The journey began in Modena, the heart of Italy’s luxury automotive industry. Students visited the famous facilities of Pagani and Ferrari.
- At Pagani, they gained insights into the brand’s artisanal approach to hypercar production, from the intricacy of carbon fibre detailing to the elegance of custom interiors.
- At Ferrari, they explored the heritage and innovation that define the brand, witnessing firsthand how it continues to set global benchmarks in performance and luxury.
A taste of Italian excellence
Italian luxury is not only about fashion and automobiles, but also about the mastery of fine food. The MGLuxM students explored two of Italy’s most cherished culinary traditions:
- In Modena, they explored the technique of balsamic vinegar production, where expertise and time create the finest Aceto Balsamico.
- In Emilia-Romagna, they gained insights into the process of making Parmigiano Reggiano, witnessing the dedication that makes this cheese a global delicacy.
Experiencing Italian fashion in the heart of Florence
Florence, the birthplace of Italian fashion, offered students an introduction to the country’s luxury fashion industry.
- At the Ferragamo Museum, they learned about the designs of Salvatore Ferragamo and his impact on the fashion industry.
- At Gucci Garden, they uncovered the brand’s transformation over the years, from classic elegance to bold modern statements.
These visits offered a closer look at how Italian fashion houses masterfully blend heritage with modernity.

The tour came to an end with a visit to an artisan chocolate factory where the students of MGLuxM program explored the process of fine chocolate making and indulged in freshly prepared treats.
